What would you add to this list? Yelling at or shaming someone might feel good in the moment, but boy is that counter productive.
Save that energy and use your voice to write to major corporations and politicians demanding action.
Trash is only one part of the picture! Emissions, land use, ethical practices, regenerative farming – there’s so much more to take into consideration.
Composting is wonderful! But, make sure you’re using it as a last resort. Eat everything you can – it still takes A LOT of resources to produce that food!
Don’t over buy – EVEN IF ITS SECONDHAND! Try not to consume more than you need.
Don’t buy something new, even if it’s an eco-friendly purchase, when what you have can still be used or repaired.

Eh. For your health may not wanna "just rinse off" mold and such.
Once you see it. The mold is already through the entire thing. Especially with moist foods.
The lady piling up cigarettes outside my appt on the street is getting talked to. Its 8 a day, everyday for months all thrown outside on the ground in the same spot. Like her appt isnt 20ft away.
Its insane. Shes got kids too dont teach more people to shit on our home! And i dont need to be mean or rude, im going to grab a little coffee tin, and put it there. Then i can say "hey you could just toss those butts in here and then every couple months or every 3 months whatever you can just dump this in the dog poop garbage since its the closest garbage. And that way the sidewalk, street and now the bushes, surrounding trees, grass and bark/dirt areas wont be covered in

Most of what’s in thrift stores ends up in landfills. People who over thrift actually save stuff from the landfill even if it’s just a little while longer.
If you are an over thrifter you can always make sure things get a loving home when you are done with them instead of sending it back to the thrift store. Often times when someone visits my home and they really like something I have I’ll let them take it home. Often times they were going to buy one new when there are 15 sitting at the thrift store. It looks generous and makes people feel loved while it’s really just feeding a hobby you love. (Make sure you throughly clean thrifted things before you give them to someone else)
This is GOLD!
Sock mending video is badly needed.
You can over buy even if you don’t need when it’s secondhand, is it practical financially not really. when you realize that you don’t need it you can just return it back to the second hand store, or gift to a friend when you forgot about their birthday
I had a leather choker, she was DEAD full on DEAD, i saw the exact same one at the shop but yk what i did i got my old girl outta my drawer, duct taped over her, shes beautiful now
You are great🙌🙌🙌
"Avoid shaming regular people, save that for the mass polluters" yes! Say it louder for the people in the back!!
I actually love and want to slowly be eco-friendly. Like re-using old stuff, etc. But, tbh I got a bad habbit because of it. I somehow become a horders. Not to the point it is everywhere, but I feel bad if I throw away something. Thinking like I can use it later, I might want to use it later, I can repair it and ended up not repairing at all because I don’t have the resources or the skill to do it.
Pls don’t pick up litter w your bare hands!
Veggie and bone scraps can also be used to make stock/broth, and you can turn old peppers into paprika 🙂
I always heard those pumpkins aren’t actually good for eating?
Literally. It’s called reduce reuse recycle and it’s supposed to be done in that order buying recyclable or recycled products should be the last step in the process. first we reduce our use then we reuse it and then we recycle.
“Save that for the mass polluters” PREACH MA’AM so many people don’t understand that!!
❤❤
Over consuming at the thrift store isn’t a real issue honestly. Maybe bad for your soul, but not the environment. They throw away thousands of tons of items each years of things that were never purchased.
What’s the technique they used on the socks called? I’ve seen it a few times and wanna try but I don’t know how to begin looking
YES yell at he bug corporations causing 70% of carbon emissions not random people
Save that for the mass polluters ❤❤🙏🙏
While i agree about everything ive failed far to many times with fixing socks i still end up buying new ones 🤦♀️
